Wayne Kellner serves as Treasurer for the Fairholme Funds since March 2012.

As of June 2014, Mr. Kellner was named Chief Operating Officer of Fairholme Capital Management. In this capacity, Mr. Kellner directs administrative operations for Fairholme’s two public funds and managed accounts. Mr. Kellner has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Fairholme Capital Management since January 2012. Previously, he served as Treasurer of Fairholme Capital Management from January 2011 to December 2011.

Prior to joining Fairholme, Mr. Kellner provided tax services for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and private foundations while at Rothstein Kass (now part of KPMG), where he became a Tax Principal in 2006 and specialized in tax planning and consulting for hedge funds, general partnerships, and management companies.

Mr. Kellner is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, and is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. From 1990 through 2000, he served as an auxiliary police officer for the New York Police Department and received an honorary retirement after 10 years of voluntary service. Mr. Kellner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics from Queens College in 1991 and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2002.
